FORMÉ's virtual try-on API lets shoppers upload a photo and see any garment rendered on their exact body in 3–5 seconds. Brands embed a single script tag on their product pages. The API accepts garment images and shopper photos, processes them through AI models, and delivers results via webhook.

How long does flat-lay image generation take?

FORMÉ generates e-commerce-ready flat-lay images in under 60 seconds from any product photo, including lifestyle shots, on-model images, or raw product photos. Images sync automatically to Shopify catalogs. Batch processing is supported for large product catalogues.

Does FORMÉ work with Shopify?

Yes. FORMÉ is a Shopify Partner. Product catalogues sync with one click, VTO widgets embed on product pages via a single script tag, and generated flat-lay images sync back to the store automatically. Non-Shopify storefronts can integrate via the FORMÉ REST API and webhooks.

Are these real models?

Yes. Every Digital Twin on the platform is created from a real, participating model who has provided informed written consent and authorized the use of their likeness. FORMÉ does not create synthetic models from scraped or unauthorized data.

How does model approval work?

After you generate images using a model's Digital Twin, you select the outputs you want to use and submit them — along with your intended usage terms — for the model's review. The model approves, requests changes, or declines. Only approved images are released to you.

What usage rights do I get?

Each approved output comes with an Output License specifying the campaign, channels, territory, and term you can use it for. If your needs change or expand, you can request updated licensing through the platform.

What about Virtual Models?

FORMÉ also offers AI-generated Virtual Models that are not based on any real person's likeness. These are ideal for outfit composition mockups, styling concepts, and merchandising visuals where specific model talent isn't needed. Virtual Models are available through Studio Features at standard credit pricing.

Can I use outputs for social media? Print? Paid ads?

Usage depends on the Approved Usage Package for each output. You declare your intended channels and placements when you submit for approval, and the model's approval covers those specific uses. Need to add channels later? You can extend through the platform.
